Preheat oven to 350F. Mix butter, sugar, and egg together in a bowl. Stir in mashed bananas. Add flour, cinnamon and then milk. Stir through chocolate.
Pour into a greased and lined loaf pan. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake for 40-45 minutes until a toothpick inserted in centre comes out cleanly. Remove from oven and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, then cool in pan for 10 minutes before taking out to cool completely.
