Shrimp Mexican-style (Camarones a la Mexicana)

Description

Ingredients

  • 8 cups Water
  • 24 Large Shrimp, peeled/deveined
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 tbsp Parsley, chopped
  • 1 jar Veracruz Cooking Sauce
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 1 ½ tsp Thyme
  • 1 tbsp Salt

Method

¢ Place Veracruz Cooking Sauce in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce to medium heat; add bay leaves, thyme and salt. Cook for a minute. Remove from heat. ¢ For Shrimp: Heat oil in a skillet and lightly sauté the shrimp until they start getting a deep orange color. Add the shrimp to the sauce and simmer for 3-4 minutes or until they are fully cooked. ¢ Serve 4 to 6 pieces on a plate with a spoonful of sauce. Sprinkle each serving with chopped parsley. Enjoy!
