Chocolate Chip Cookies
Blend dry ingredients. Cream butter, beat in sugar. Stir in vanilla, beat in eggs. Blend dry into wet. Blend in chips. (Chill 1 hour if you have time) Drop onto sheets. Bake at 375F, 10 min.
Notes:
These cookies are better if they slightly undercooked. They come out chewy and wonderful. When they are crisp, they’re good, but not as good.
Rotate cookies after 5 minutes. Check if they’re done after 8 or 9 minutes. Watching cookies carefully is the key to avoiding overbaking.
Don’t you dare use salted butter.
