Easy Slow Cooker French Dip Roast Sandwiches

Unlock the secret to incredibly tender and flavorful French Dip Roast sandwiches with this easy slow cooker recipe. Perfect for a comforting family meal, this dish features a succulent beef roast cooked slowly with savory au jus and served hot on toasted rolls topped with melted provolone or mozzarella cheese. Ingredients

  • 3 lb Beef Bottom Round or Rump Roast
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 packet of Au Jus Gravy Mix
  • 1 cup white wine or water (or beef broth)
  • 1/8 tsp garlic pepper
  • sliced provalone cheese (optional)
  • 8 sub rolls

Method

Place onion slices in bottom of crockpot, place roast, trimmed of excess fat, on top of onions. Mix together remaining ingredients, and pour over roast.

Cook on low 10-12 hours.

To serve: Take the roast out and slice it thinly. Remove the onions with a slotted spoon and set aside. Pour some of the leftover Au jus into individual serving cups. Toast rolls if desired. Place a couple slices of cheese on the roll. Pile high with hot slices of roast and some of the reserved onion. Top with remaining half of roll. Dip the sandwiches in the Au jus sauce.
