Description
Discover how to make a deliciously easy and refreshing no-bake granadilla (passion fruit) fridge tart. This simple dessert features a creamy passion fruit filling set on a crunchy Tennis biscuit base, perfect for any occasion and ideal for hot weather.
Ingredients
- 1 lemon or pineapple jelly
- 1 cup (250 ml) boiling water
- 8 granadillas (passion fruit or 170g tin granadillas (passion fruit)
- 1 410g tin Evaporated milk
- 75 g castor sugar
- 1 packet Tennis biscuits
Method
- Mix jelly powder with 1 cup boiling water, leave (out of fridge) till it cools down and add pulp of 6 granadillas or 3/4 tin granadilla pulp
- Beat evaporated milk until thick, gradually add sugar
- Combine milk with the cooled jelly mixture
- Crush tennis biscuits or leave whole
5 Make 3 layers tennis biscuits and jelly, ending with jelly
- Put in fridge till set 3 -4 hours
- Add last 2 granadilla pulp or 1/4 tin to top of tart
- Serve and enjoy
