Description
These easy Crescent Sausage Bites are a quick and versatile appetizer or breakfast idea, featuring a savory blend of ground sausage and creamy cream cheese wrapped in flaky crescent rolls. Perfect for parties, brunches, or a simple snack, they're a delicious and fun recipe for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. sausage (ground pork, ground turkey or hamburger)
- 1 (8oz.) package of cream cheese
- 2 packages of crescent rolls
- dash of salt and pepper
Method
brown your choice of meat and drain. Add salt and pepper. Blend in cream cheese until melted. unroll one package of crescent rolls and place on baking sheet. With your fingers, press together seams and seal. Spread mixture evenly over the dough leaving about 1/2 inch border along edges. Unroll remaining crescent roll package and place on top of mixture. Press edges together and seams. Bake at 375 for about 20 min. or until dough is golden brown. Cut into small squares and serve.
- I used chive cream cheese and added onion to my mix. Don’t be afraid to add your favorite spices or herbs!
