  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar or Swiss cheese
  • 2 cans (14-1/2 oz. each) DEL MONTE® Sliced New Potatoes, drained

Method

Melt butter in saucepan; blend in flour. Add milk gradually and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add garlic powder and 1/2 cup cheese. Combine potatoes and sauce in 2-qt. baking dish; sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake at 375°F, 25 minutes or until golden brown and heated through. Garnish with sliced green onions, if desired.
