Discover this simple and delicious vegetarian variation of classic Scotch eggs! These crispy, deep-fried cheesy eggs are perfect as a unique appetizer, party snack, or picnic food. Made with grated cheddar cheese, hard-boiled eggs, and a crispy breadcrumb coating.
Mix together the cheese, flour, salt, beaten egg and milk. Using wet hands, coat the hard boiled eggs completely with the cheese mixture. then roll them in the breadcrumbs.
Deep fry for 2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown.
Drain on paper towels and serve hot or cold.
