Easy, easy, easy and soooo chocolately, these chocolate cookies are topped off with flair!
A gooey, warm marshmallow is just the most PERFECT pairing with this rich, chocolate cookie.
You, your family and your friends will LOVE these cookies!
Ingredients
- Cookie
- 1/2 C. Butter or Margarine
- 1 C. Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1/4 C. Milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1/3 C. Cocoa (I like to add a bit more :)
- 1-3/4 C. Flour
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 18 Marshmallows, large sized, cut in half
- Frosting (optional)
- 6 T Butter or Margarine
- 2 T Cocoa
- 1/4 C. Milk
- 1-3/4 C. Powdered Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- Pecans, halved
Method
Cookie
- Cream together butter and sugar.
- Beat in egg, milk and vanilla.
- Add dry ingredients and mix well.
- Drop by teaspoons full on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350 F for 8 minutes.
- Remove from oven and top each cookie with a marshmallow half.
- Bake 2 more minutes.
- Remove and cool slightly.
Frosting (optional; I don’t even use this but it would add even more flair)
- Boil butter, cocoa and milk together for 1 minute.
- Cool slightly; add sugar and vanilla; beat well.
- Drizzle 1 T over each cookie and top with a pecan half.
